MAY " My month of Grace"

WORD FROM OLD TESTAMENT-WOT

"And he said, Thou knowest that the kingdom was mine, and that all Israel set their faces on me, that I should reign: howbeit the kingdom is turned about, and is become my brother's: for it was his from the LORD".
1King 2:15
What God has destined for your life will certainly come to pass whether the enemy (Agents of the darkness and the Devil) like it or not. It is your choice to let them dictate your destiny or let God dictate it for you. I pray that we will learn to take the right decision at all times in Jesus name amen.

WORD FROM THE NEW TESTAMENT-WNT

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest".
Matthew 11:28
There is no load too heavy that the Lord Jesus Christ cannot lift away from me and your life, you know Jesus came for the sole purpose to heal the sick, sickness in the mind, heart, situation around, He there just for me(you). So let take time everyday to pour out our heart (troubles, anxieties, worries, insecurities) to Christ, remember He said He will never leave you, he will never forsake you (Hebrews 13:5b).

WORD REFLECTION-WR

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man”.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
There is always a choice to all situations in life, and I think we will do ourselves good by doing according to how God has design our lives to be.
Jesus Christ did in all His capacity to do the will of His Father while He was here on earth, has we are here on earth which naturally is not our home, are we doing all things right to please Him who has created us to obey and fear Him? I pray that God will grant us the grace to do according to His will in Jesus name amen.

WORD DEFINIATION-WD

Our WD for this month is STRENGTH
According to dictionary.reference.com Strength can be defined as “the inherent capacity to manifest energy, to endure and to resist”.
"My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever" (Psalms 73:26). Strength has two sides which are strength in the flesh and strength in the Spirit. You determine where your strength is anchored on is it in Christ or your flesh (which controlled by the devil).
God obligate us to love Him with our whole strength in Mark 12:30 “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment”.

PRAYER CHAIN-PC

1. Let pray that we will learn to obey God will and choice to do right at all times in Jesus name amen.
2. Let pray for missionaries all over the world who have left their comfort homes to do the work of God in foreign countries, harsh states just for the sake of the gospel.
3. Let pray for someone we don’t know but believe he or she needs God presence in his or her life.

WORD FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT-WOT

Then the LORD said to me, "Haven’t I the right to do with you people of Israel what the potter did with the clay? You are in my hands just like the clay is in the potter's hands”
Jeremiah 18:5, 6
It is never too late for the Lord to shapen our lives to that desired structure He Has fashioned in His heart that we will be.
Give God a try today to Shapen you.

WORD FROM THE NEW TESTAMENT – WNT

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.
John 3:16, 36
Your believe determines where you will spend your eternity, of what use will it be if you serve the devil, believe God, obey him and live in his love or else expect his wrath even while on earth. The Lord guide has you make your choice to follow in his ways all the days of your life in Jesus name amen.

WORD REFLECTION- WR

”Jesus Christ could do all that He did because God was with Him. God can come in partnership with you.”
(* Acts 10:38)
No enemy can overcome you if you are a partner with God.
- Pastor E.A Adeboye

The Shunammite woman, the widow of Zarepath, peter where partners with God that is why we know them today. Make a decision today to be in consistent, continuous partnership with God.

WORD DEFINIATION- WD

Our WD for this week is “DELIVERANCE
According to Pastor E.A Adeboye in his book “the LAST DAYS of ELISHA”, Deliverance simply means “ to rescue someone from a fight that he or she cannot win. The rescuer becomes the deliver. He further says that “Deliverance is warfare". Deliverance is not something you get yourself involved with if you are not ready for war”.
God delivered King Hezekiah from the King of Assyria (2 chronicles 32:20-21), God delivered Paul and Silas from the prison (Acts 16:25-26, 36). God can deliver me and you from oppression, but there is a part we must be ready to take part in. That is why the bible says we are not warring after flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers, authorities of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm, we need to fight get deliverance. (Ephesians 6:10-13).
Let us take time today to fight out all our troubles and unwanted desires in our today and surely Victory is already ours.
